Walking with Papa

Gramma Alice found this little poem and paired it with this picture of Melody and her Papa walking together last April.  Too sweet!

Walking With Papa (written by a child)

I like to walk with Papa,

His steps are short like mine.

He doesn’t say “Now hurry up!”

He always takes his time.

Most people have to hurry,

They do not stop and see,

I’m glad that God made Papa,

“Unrushed” and young like me.

Written from American Glory in port at Belfast, Maine. As you know I love this photo. Weather here is foggy, cold, U Pete & ARuth have gone on a walking tour. I was going to go too but chickened out when I got outside. Still can’t get the email to come up but got you. Yea! LOVE, GRAMMA
