The other day, Melody wandered into the living room where I was sitting on the couch. She walked right up to me and said “Mommy, give me a break!”
Another time, she held her hands in front of her, palms up, shrugged her shoulders and said “why is that happening? What should we do?”
Dad went to get her up from her nap one afternoon. She looked him straight in the eye and said “what are you doing here?”
I love it when she tries out her new phrases since they are often out of context and so funny!
It just keeps going too. Even as they get older they will say things that will make your realize they are growing up.
