Friends, it is with deep regret that Mrs. Brewer’s Parlor and Marvel & Marshall Purveyors of Fine Literature have decided not to attend the encampment at Fort Knott’s this weekend.  Current weather predictions are for up to 4 inches of rain over the weekend.  You can imagine how parlor furnishings, rugs and books deal with rain.  As of this update, the event will still take place, since soldiers will be there rain or shine.  Saturday’s forecast is for clouds and a high chance of rain, so if you were thinking of going, please still consider bundling up and exploring the camps.  You will learn so much and the good folks who will be there are incredibly kind, open, and eager to teach.  If I hear of a rain date, I’ll post it here.
